    Panny Hire are again one of the pioneers and proud to unveil the first RED Scarlet-W cameras available for hire in Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and North London!

    The Scarlet-W (W for Weapon) is part of the Dragon and Weapon line-up; featuring a 5K RED Dragon sensor, with everything else inside the camera being brand new and improved technology direct from the flagship RED Weapon.

    The RED Scarlet-W delivers the RAW performance, powerful colour science and advanced dynamic range of the RED DRAGON sensor (13.8 Megapixel in this 5K implementation). The sensor in the Scarlet Weapon is capable of shooting in 5K 2:4:1 up to 60 fps and 4K Full Frame up to 150 fps. RAW Stills or RAW motion video too!

    The RED DRAGON sensor captures 16.5 stops of Dynamic Range DR latitude (up to 18 stops when using HDRx mode).

    We can supply the Scarlet-W with PL or EF lens mount, Titanium and PL Motion Mount (additional). This beast can shoot up to 60 fps at 5K RAW, 150 fps at 4K RAW or up to 300 fps at 2K RAW! And while acquiring ProRes 422 HQ at the same time!

    Supplied with the new MINI-MAG system as standard, which enables faster shooting with lower REDCODE compression. Also bundled with plenty of MINI-MAG SSD’s and a USB 3.0 MINI-MAG SSD reader for super-fast footage transfer! Double the speed of regular REDMAG’s!

    Also included is the RED DSMC2 Sidekick interface for intuitive and integrated complete camera control via a OLED 1.7″ menu display screen.

    Optionally equipped with the stunning 7″ RED Touch LCD Monitor which boasts a gorgeous 1920 x 1136 resolution panel, retina equivalent 323 ppi (pixels per inch) and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, instead of the standard 4.7″ RED Touch LCD Monitor. A RED Bomb EVF is also optionally available.
