The sensor on the Canon 5D is BIG! Bigger in fact than the RED Camera sensor. Amazingly shallow depth of field and great in low light performance. The new firmware has enabled the camera to shoot 24/25fps at 1080p. Not quite as feature equipped as the bigger regular cameras but it's light, portable and shoots amazing footage!
